12th March<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hendaye Carnival<\/strong><\/p>\n

MUTXIKO Elkartea participated in the Parade of the Carnival. As in 2010 the group was invited to the Jaialdi in Boise, USA, the theme for the carnival chosen by MUTXIKO Elkartea was dedicated to the Basque men who went to the United States to work as sheppards and who used to live in chariots while looking after the herd.<\/p>\n

10th April<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mutxiko participated in the Dantzari Festa<\/strong> in Hernani, a town in Gipuzkoa. Mutxiko participated together with other groups from all the Basque Country.<\/p>\n

9th July<\/strong><\/p>\n

D<\/strong>ance Performance with <\/strong>Oinkari Basque Dancers-Biriatou and <\/strong>Mutxiko Elkartea<\/strong><\/p>\n

In their visit to the Basque Country, Oinkari Basque Dancers\u00a0 (Boise, USA) paid us a visit in Hendaye. We took the opportunity to organize a dance performance together with them in Xoldo Pilota Court in Biriatou, France.<\/p>\n

Amuma Says No, music band from Boise, played afterwards so that everyone could dance and enjoy.<\/p>\n

Thanks again to Oinkari Basque Dancers and Amuna Says No for coming to our village and for their wonderful performance.<\/p>\n

Performance in Sokoburu<\/strong><\/p>\n

Among\u00a0the activities organised by the\u00a0townhall for the summer, Mutxiko performed a complete dance show in\u00a0Sokoburu,\u00a0Hendaye.<\/p>\n

Euskal\u00a0Besta Hendaye<\/strong><\/p>\n

MUTXIKO participated in the parade of Euskal Besta in Hendaye.<\/p>\n

28th July, 25 August, 1st September<\/strong>
\nPerformances is Ascain<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mutxiko offered three complete dance performances in the Chourio Pilota court\u00a0in Ascain, as part of the summer activities programme of that town.<\/p>\n

This is a Festival that takes place in the seaside road. The road from Hendaye to St. Jean de Luz is closed and a big pic-nic is organised. Mutxiko animated the event.<\/p>\n

\nPastore Lore, Ascain<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mutxiko animated the festival called Pastore Lore celebrated in Ascain owing to the descent of the Pottokas ( an endemic horse race) to the village.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
